Kru Mark | Bio
Kru Mark (official name is Boungnaphonh Makthepharaks) is a Master Muay Thai instructor and has been training and teaching for over 55 years. He’s the son of 4-star General Bounpone Makthepharaks, former Commander-in- Chief of the Laotian army. Like his father, Kru Mark started training Muay Thai at the age of 5. Also like his father, Kru Mark served in the Military, working with the U.S. Special Forces in Vietnam. After being held in a POW camp, Kru Mark escaped and made his way to the U.S., where he’s been teaching his family’s style of Muay Thai ever since.
